Dorothy M. Driscoll

Cheshire - Dorothy M. Driscoll, 96, passed away on March 24, 2026, at her home. She was the wife of the late William L. Driscoll. She was deeply loved by her family.

Mrs. Driscoll was born August 23, 1929, in New Haven, the daughter of the late George and Roberta (Stuart) Tickell. She attended local schools and graduated from Hamden High School.

She was known for her great, playful sense of humor and her knowledge of the family history, with her excellent memory. A trait she carried until the end. She enjoyed game shows, crafts, puzzles, and enjoyed UCONN basketball. She had loved her many dogs over the years and enjoyed her Chex mix and afternoon cocktails with her husband. She made a fantastic banana whipped cream cake and took pleasure in her gardens, birds, and nature.

Mrs. Driscoll is survived by her son William Driscoll and his wife Kelly; her daughter Robin Driscoll Kehoss; her grandchildren Kristy Kehoss and her partner Rick O’Neil, Nicholas Kehoss and his wife Lisa, Kate Driscoll, and Ella Driscoll; her great-grandchildren Brayden and Brynley Kehoss. In addition to her husband, who she loved dearly, she is predeceased by her sister Marion Tripp. Her granddaughter Kristy loved spending time with her grandmother, indicating that it felt like being with a dear friend who could put you in a better mood.

Mrs. Driscoll’s family would like to extend their appreciation to her caregiver Maria Cruz, and the Hospice Team.

Arrangements – Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9 to 11 am at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. A service will be held at 11 am at the funeral home.
