Diane M. Schatz

Diane M. Schatz, 65, of Cheshire, CT, beloved wife of Ginter Schatz, passed away on May 11, 2025. She was born on July 5, 1959 in New Haven, CT to the late Natalie and George F. Howarth.

Diane was very family oriented and loved anything that had to do with her grandchildren. She loved spending time with them, talking with them and watching them do all the things they loved. She also enjoyed the many rides she took with her husband on their motorcycle to various favorite spots. Her two German Shepherds, Holly and Lucy, filled her days with love, companionship, and laughter.

She leaves behind her husband, Ginter Schatz, her two children, Shannon Biurrun (Napa) and Michael Roberts, Jr. (Shannon), her sister Nancy Howarth and her 6 beloved grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, George L. Howarth and Paul Howarth.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, May 16 from 5pm to 7pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home, 615 South Main Street, Cheshire, CT 06410.
