Diane R. Grossman

WALLINGFORD- Diane R. Grossman, 91, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019, at Masonic Healthcare Center in Wallingford. She was the widow of Israel Grossman who predeceased her in 1993 after 44 years of marriage.

Mrs. Grossman was born February 17, 1928 in New Haven, daughter of the late Harold and Lillian (Cohen) Rosenthal and sister of the late Norman Rosenthal and Burton Cohen.

She was a Clerk in a variety of industries, prior to her retirement.

Diane is survived by her son Joel Grossman and his partner Patrick Herzing of Cheshire; daughter Carol and her husband David Mintz of Valley Stream, NY; two grandchildren Joshua, and Sara (husband Ed) and two great grandchildren Aubrey, and Michael. Harriet Rosenthal sister-in-law. She was also Aunt Dee to numerous nieces and nephews and a beloved friend to many.

Arrangements- A graveside service for Mrs. Grossman will be held 1:30 P.M Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Beth Hamedrosh Cemetery in East Haven. Burial will follow after the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Masonicare Quality of Life, 22 Masonic Ave, Wallingford, CT 06492. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
