Denise M. Famiglietti, 60, passed away September 4, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Richard Famiglietti.

Born January 26, 1965, in Derby, the daughter of the late Marie Jean Degregorio Kniffin. She was a graduate of Derby High School, class of 1985. Denise was an animal lover who took care of ferals for the last decade.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister Michelle Degregorio of Ansonia, her niece Nicole Degregorio of Ansonia, and her great-nephew Elijah Montgomery of Ansonia.

Denise's message to all is, if you smoke, quit. Get your lungs, heart, and liver checked. You don't want to go through this.

Arrangements – Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 2 to 4 pm at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave. A funeral service will be held at 4 pm. Committal will be held at the convenience of the family.
