David C. Petro

Wallingford - David C. Petro, 77, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at his home. He was the husband of Joan (Skiffington) Petro.

Mr. Petro was born October 13, 1947, in East Hartford, the son of the late Francis and Helen (Pizzola) Petro Sr. He was pre-deceased by his son David C. Petro and brothers Francis J. Petro Jr and Peter Petro. David’s career spanned various positions in food service, vending, and lastly his favorite position as the Transportation Coordinator for the Wallingford Senior Center.

Besides his wife Joan of 25 years, Mr. Petro is survived by his son, Stephen F. Petro, and Stepsons Thomas Bremer, James Caturano III, and Josh Caturano, along with Nephews Paul Petro and Patrick Petro and three granddaughters, Leah Petro, Allie Petro, and Penny Bremer. David is also survived by a community of loving family and friends who will deeply miss his presence.

Arrangements- Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 4 to 7 pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St. Funeral services and committal will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Wallingford Senior Center 238 Washington Street, Wallingford, CT 06492 in memory of David Petro.
