Naugatuck, CT Donna Cossette, 66, of Naugatuck, beloved wife of Rodney Cossette who predeceased her on March 13, 2005, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 5, 2023 following a short battle with cancer.

Donna was born September 19, 1956 in Malone, NY the daughter of the late Theresa and Walter LaGrave. Donna was employed by Macy’s Logistics. Donna’s favorite role was that of a loving mother, her family was her pride and joy. Donna enjoyed every moment spent with her family and friends and she will be remembered for her humor, wittiness and bright smile.

Donna is survived by her two devoted children; Justin Cossette and his partner Ashley of Meriden and Zachary Cossette of Sacramento, CA; her granddaughter, Cassidy Elise Cossette as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Donna is also survived by her brothers, Ernie Amyotte and his wife Barbara of Lagrangeville, NY; Wayne LaGrave and his wife Marcia of Hernando, FL; Walter LaGrave and his wife Debbie of Thomaston and Larry LaGrave and his wife Tanya of Naugatuck.

A Celebration of Donna’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 2:00 to 6:00pm at the Naugatuck Elks Lodge #967, 758 Rubber Avenue, Naugatuck, CT. To honor Donna’s memory, donations can be made to the CT Humane Society at www.cthumane.org.
