Corinne B. Board, 86, of Cheshire, beloved wife of the late Robert Board Sr., passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025. She was born on May 17, 1939 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Dr. Lawrence George Beinhauer and Mildred (Larkin) Beinhauer.
Corinne attended Mt. Lebanon high school in Mt. Lebanon PA. Corinne went on to receive her associate’s degree from Marymount Jr. college in Arlington, VA then received her bachelor’s degree in teaching from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA.
During her lifetime, Corinne was a teacher in Pittsburgh, a teacher’s aide at St Bridget’s church in Cheshire and worked in various retail stores. She also gave her time to volunteering, notably with the Junior League organization.
However, Corinne’s greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who were the light of her life. Nothing else mattered to her than family.
Corinne will be greatly missed but will always be remembered with love by her children and grandchildren. Corinne leaves behind her sons, Robert Board, Jr. (Lynn) of Cheshire; Gregory Board (Melanie) of Hopkinton, MA; Daniel Board of Cheshire; her daughter, Elizabeth Mullins (Glenn) of Plantsville; her sister, Laurene “Bonnie” O’Donnell (Leo) of Naperville, IL and her grandchildren, Robert J. Board, Patrick J. Board, Timothy D. Board, Joshua L. Board, Jack R. Board, Alexis R. Mullins and Abigail L. Mullins. Corinne was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence Beinhauer, Jr.
