Joann Cieslewski

Waterbury-JoAnn (Zaccagnini)(Niski) Cieslewski, 68, of 586 Oronoke Rd, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Raymond Cieslewski.
JoAnn was born on October 6, 1941 in Waterbury a daughter of the late John L. and Emma (Hill) Zaccagnini. She was employed by Anthony's Hair Salon, Tendril's of Middlebury and the Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan Association. She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church in Waterbury and was a graduate of W.F. Kaynor Technical School class of 1959.
Besides her husband she is survived by her two sons: John Niski of Shelton, and Al Niski of Wells, ME, two daughters: Karen Ready of Chatham MA and Sharon Riley of Plymouth, MA, three step-children, the late Raymond Cieslewski, Jr., Thomas Cieslewski and Diane Thomas, one sister Annette Edgecomb of Waterbury, three brothers Richard Zaccagnini of Naugatuck, Harold and John Zaccagnini both of Waterbury, and the loves of her life her seventeen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
The funeral will be held on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte 69, Prospect to St. Francis Xavier Church, 625 Baldwin Street, Waterbury for a mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4-7 p.m.
