Carol B. Farley, age 82, of Cheshire entered into rest on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the Regency House in Wallingford. Carol was born on January 24, 1939 in The Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Robert and Hilda (Siebert) Farley.
Carol was a caregiver by nature, family meant everything to her and being there for them to extend comfort and aid was her life’s passion. She loved flowers and enjoyed the beaches of Long Island, having spent most of her life there, and trips with her family to Cape Cod.
She is the beloved mother of JoAnn Brown and her husband, Chris of Cheshire; and is also survived by her cherished grandsons, Patrick and Brian Brown of Cheshire; her brother, Robert Farley and his wife, Joyce of Bellmore, NY; her sister, Lorraine Meinecke and her husband, James of Riverhead, NY; and several loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her nephew, Jimmy Meinecke.
Friends may greet Carol’s family at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 So. Main Street, Cheshire, CT 06410 on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 2PM until 4PM. On Monday, November 1, 2021 her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:15AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10AM at St. Bridget of Sweden Parish-St. Bridget Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire. Burial will be private and at the convenience of her family.
