Carl P. Strzesiewski

Naugatuck, CT    Carl P. Strzesiewski, 88, died peacefully on October 21, 2026 at Autumn Lake Health Care at Bucks Hill in Waterbury.

Carl was born February 9, 1938 in Waterbury, CT a son of the late Peter and Theodosia “Doris” (Strazemska) Strzesiewski. Carl lived in Naugatuck most of his life, and for 3 years he lived in Wolcott with his nephew and niece, Todd and Pamela Strzesiewski.

Carl worked for many years as an auto detailer at Henrick Chevrolet in Naugatuck. Carl loved cats, Elvis Presley, Professional Wrestling, especially Hulk Hogan and enjoying his favorite breakfast of coffee and pancakes. Carl enjoyed feeding ducks while being out on his nephew Bob’s boat and going to car shows and seeing his favorite cars from the 50’s and 60’s.

Carl is survived by his nieces and nephews, Lynn Barker (Bob), Todd Strzesiewski (Pamela), Mark Strzesiewski and Laureen DeVito (Ronald); his great nieces and nephews, Jennifer Preta (Steven), Julie Bezroukov (Mikhail), Chiara Strzesiewski-Frias (Danny), Johnna Rodriguez (David) and his 12 great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Carl was predeceased by his brother, Richard Strzesiewski.

Carl’s family would like to sincerely thank the entire staff at Autumn Lakes Health Care at Bucks Hill and at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home for the exemplary care that they provided.

Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
