Brenda Sue DeRusso

MERIDEN- Brenda Sue DeRusso, 63, passed away, Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Meriden Center.

She was born March 24, 1958 in Marlin, TX, daughter of the late Melvin and Josephine (Lewis) Cox.

In her free time Brenda enjoyed crafts, sewing, crocheting, and quilting, and above all spending time with her loving family.

Ms. DeRusso is survived by her three sons Damien Cox and his wife Stacy Attenberg of Cheshire, John Saucier, and Jake Saucier; two brothers Dennis Cox of WI, and Timothy Cox of Durham; a sister Linda and her husband Barry Milavsky of New Britain; two nephews Michael and Christopher Cummings; and her niece Crystal Chittenden. She was predeceased by her sister Donna Cummings.

A calling hour for Brenda will be held 10 to 11 A.M, Thursday, June 3, 2021 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410. A funeral service will be held 11 A.M at the funeral home. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Ave, North Haven, 06473. In lieu of flowers donations in her name can be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
