Denise Berardi

Naugatuck, CT; Denise M. Berardi, 58, died unexpectedly on May 5, 2024 at Waterbury Hospital.

Denise was born September 9, 1965 in Waterbury, CT the daughter of Lorraine (Bellemare) Berardi and the late Anthony “Brud” Berardi, Jr. Denise was a lifelong Naugatuck resident, attended local schools and graduated from Naugatuck High School. Denise enjoyed gardening, being a caretaker and spending time with her family.

Denise is survived by her son, Jacob Crosby (Kathy Drezek); her mother, Lorraine Berardi; her brother, Anthony Berardi, III (Darlene Avery); her nephew, Matthew Berardi (Pamela Taylor Berardi); and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and her beloved cats, Gigi & Shadow.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Road, Naugatuck. Everyone attending is kindly asked to please meet directly at church. Burial will be at a later date. Calling hours will be Friday, May 24, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
