Anne Marie (Johnson) St. Germain, 93, of Cheshire, Connecticut passed away on June 11, 2026 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born on March 4, 1933 in Hartford, CT, the beloved daughter of the late Edward M. and Clara (Courtemanche) Johnson. She grew up in Hartford and was a graduate of Bulkeley High School (member of the National Honor Society). She worked for numerous companies including Corometrics and Plasticrete ending her working career at Gibbs Wire and Steel Company in Southington Connecticut.

Anne was married to Leon Nelson St. Germain for 43 years from 1954 until his death in 1997. Anne met the love of her life, Leon, at a dance in Hartford. They got married, had four children (Michael, Paul, Jeanne, and Daniel), and they raised their family initially in New London and later in Cheshire Connecticut.

She was an avid reader, puzzle maker, and loved gardening. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and especially her great grandchildren.

She is survived by two children, including Jeanne St. Germain Angelo (spouse Jerry Angelo) of Colchester with whom she resided and Daniel St. Germain (spouse Jennifer Chainey St. Germain) of Newburgh, NY, and her sister Eleanor Johnson Jacobs of East Hartford.

She also leaves behind nine grandchildren: Justin St. Germain, Travis St. Germain, Kelsey St. Germain, Kate Paquette, Jonathan Paquette, Brian Paquette, Melissa Angelo, Danica St. Germain, Connor St. Germain, and thirteen great-grandchildren: Nolan, Lillian, Greyson, Logan, Landon, Phillip, Luke, Madison, Olivia, Mila, Cecelia, William, and Benjamin.

She is preceded in death by her husband Leon; two sons, Michael and Paul St. Germain; her sister, Marilyn Fiori; her brother, Edward Johnson and two sisters-in-law, Joanne St. Germain Franklin and Ellen St. Germain Sadiler.

Services for Anne will be held at the convenience of her family at the Hillside Cemetery in Cheshire Connecticut. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with her arrangements. To leave online condolences for his family, please visit www.fordfh.com
