It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Amy (Calchera) Glass on August 27, 2026, at the age of 51.

Amy was a lifelong resident of Connecticut, where she and her husband of 26 years, Donald J. Glass, raised their two children and built a life together in the town of Willington. She was a devoted mother and her children’s biggest cheerleader, never missing a moment to support, guide, challenge, and celebrate them. Amy could always be spotted on the sidelines of year-round school and sporting events, camps, horse shows, graduations, and all milestones in between…with a large enthusiastic smile, her camera in hand, and a car-full of gear in the parking lot always at the ready.

Amy is survived by her children, Jamison Glass and Jeffrey Glass, and their loving father, Donald Glass. She is also survived by her parents, Alfred and Linda (Maynard) Calchera; her brother, Adam A. Calchera; and a very large extended family of beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Services and Committal will be held at the convenience of the family.
