William Clossick

MARIETTA, GA - William Henry Clossick, 87, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 14, 2011 in Marietta, Georgia. He was born in New Haven, CT on February 6, 1924 to the late William and Bridget Hyland Clossick. He attended chiropractic school in Illinois and devoted his life's work to the field of natural health and medicine. He also had a life long passion for flying airplanes.

He leaves his sister Ellen McNeil of Cheshire, Margaret Clossick of Meriden; nieces Lauren McNeil Backman of Cheshire, Gail Wilson Greco of Seymour; nephews, Craig McNeil of Littleton, CO, Edward McNeil of Schwenskville, PA, and Paul Wilson, of Rose, NY, as well as several grand nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Jane Wilson.

Arrangements - A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 10:00 am at St Thomas Beckett Church. Family and friend are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in North Haven Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made in William's name to the Cheshire Community Food Pantry, P.O. Box 457, Cheshire, CT 06410 or St Thomas Beckett Church, 435 N. Brooksvale Rd., Cheshire, CT 06410. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. is assisting with arrangements.
