William 'Bill' Campion

Cheshire, CT – William E. Campion, II, 30, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 at his home.

Bill was born September 29, 1984 in Whittier, CA. He is the son of Judy (Abt) Iannone and the late William E. Campion. He graduated from St. Paul Catholic High School in Bristol, CT (2002) where he developed lifelong, cherished friendships. Bill was known for his outgoing, larger-than-life personality and his sense of humor. After a successful career with The Hartford Insurance Company, he attended Gateway Community College to pursue his dream to be an Automotive Technician. He was known for his passion for cars and everything about them. He was most recently employed by C & S Wholesale Grocers.

Bill was the loving father of the joy of his life, his daughter, Lucy Grace Campion of Windsor. He is also survived by his mother and step-father, Paul Iannone of Cheshire; his brother, Paul A. Iannone of Stamford; his grandmother, Grace Iannone of Southington; his sister and brother, Julia and Christopher Campion of Whittier, CA. and his former wife, Natasha A. Campion of Windsor. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Bill was pre-deceased by his maternal grandparents, Paul V. and Mary R. Abt of Woodbridge, CT, and his paternal grandparents, Leonard and Agnes Virginia Campion of Whittier, CA.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 15, 2014, 9:15 from the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to St. Bridget Church, for a Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Silver Hill Hospital, 208 Valley Road, New Canaan, CT 06804 or to The Institute of Living, 200 Retreat Ave., Hartford, CT 06114 or to The Franciscan Life Center, 217 Finch Ave., Meriden, CT 06451.
