Wesley Carreiro

Naugatuck ' Wesley Carreiro, 66, of Forest St. passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at his home. He was the husband of Candace J. (Johnston) Carreiro

Mr. Carreiro was born in Naugatuck on November 12, 1942 the son of the late John and Martha (Schiller) Carreiro. He was a Vietnam Veteran Army Veteran serving in the Military Police and was a long time Naugatuck resident.

Besides his wife of 25 years, Mr. Carreiro is survived by his daughters Becky of Naugatuck, Jennifer of Naugatuck, Cara Monterosso of Terryville and Rena Carreiro of Waterbury; seven grandchildren Samantha Joy Carreiro, Cassondra May Carreiro, Amanda Leigh Carreiro, Melissa Monterosso, Michaela Monterosso, Michael Monterosso, Caitlyn Monterosso.

Arrangements ' Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation 925 White Plains rd., Trumbull, CT 06611. The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. is in charge of arrangements.
