NAUGATUCK - Wendy Dains, 53, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015 at her home in Naugatuck after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Robert Dains Jr.
Wendy was born May 10, 1962 in Ware, MA, the daughter of the late George and Lorraine (St. Laurence) Leas. She had been a CT resident since 1989 and had worked for many years at the Naugatuck Stop and Shop as a Customer Service Representative.
Wendy is survived by her brother Gene Leas and his wife Lois of West Warren, MA; her sister
Lorena Gadbois and her husband Raymond of North Brookfield, MA; her longtime Boyfriend Ralph DiBenedetto of Naugatuck; eight nieces and nephews; eleven great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Arrangements – Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Pine Grove Cemetery in Paxton, MA and there are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to St Mary’s Elementary School, 59 South Street, Ware, MA 01082. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. is assisting with arrangements.
