Wendy Anne Jamieson, aged 51, died peacefully at Wolcott Hall Nursing Center, Torrington on Friday, September 14 after fighting the good fight for many years against Huntington Disease.
She was born June 17, 1967 in Akrotiri, Cyprus. Wendy was the cherished daughter of Audrey Jamieson Sperring of Waterbury and the late Derek Roy Jamieson. She was also the step-daughter of Ray F. Sperring, Jr. of Waterbury. She was the granddaughter of Joan Jamieson of Watertown and the late Alfred Jamieson. She is survived by her beloved children, Gabriela Rivera of Torrington, Emma Rivera of Queens, NY and Noah Rivera of Goshen and her sisters Jacqueline Quirici (Mike) of Woodbury and their daughters Alyssa and Olivia, and Cheryl Vaichus of Torrington and her children Matthew, Luke, Catherine, Erin, Adam, Zachary and Joshua Vaichus.
Funeral services are private and there are no calling hours.
