Shirley Sarasin

WOLCOTT - Shirley R. Sarasin, 83, passed away peacefully Sunday March 27, 2011 at Bradley Memorial Hospital in Southington. She was the wife of the late Warren R. Sarasin.

Mrs. Sarasin was born April 6, 1927 in Waterbury the daughter of the late Samuel A. and Lois (Stephens) Leisring. She was a C.N.A. for New Lakeview Convalescent Home in Cheshire before her retirement twelve years ago. She had lived in both Waterbury and Wolcott.

Mrs. Sarasin is survived by her son Ronald and his wife Pamela of Wolcott; her daughters Denise Daniels and her husband Tom of Waterbury, Elaine Gabani and her husband James of Naugatuck, Bette Bisaillon and her husband Leo of Waterbury; her brothers Clarence "Sonny" Leisring of Watertown and Samuel Leisring of Waterbury; her sister Betty Sidella of Wolcott; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 31, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 7 at the funeral home.
