Sheila Connelly

CHESHIRE - Sheila C. Connelly, 59, passed away June 30, 2011 at her home.

Sheila was born December 24, 1951 in Norwalk, the daughter of the late Eugene and Alma (Clark) Connelly. She was a longtime resident of Cheshire were she was a communicant of Church of the Epiphany. She was an Inspector at both Helicoid and Robertshaw Lux Time. She spent many years working in the Mental Health field working at Southbury Training School as well as running her own group home. She was very fond of animals, raising and breeding dogs.

Sheila is survived by her son Ronald Laukaitis of Cheshire; her daughter Joanne Allaire of Wolcott; her brother Eugene of Cheshire; her two sisters Lorraine Corris of Hebron and Sharon Connelly of Cheshire; her grandson Gerald and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter Cindy.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 6, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
