Sally Smith

CHESHIRE- Sally A. Smith, 52, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010 at her residence. She was the wife of Kevin J. Smith.

Sally was born April 11, 1958 in New York, NY, and was the daughter of Marie (Esposito) Vario and the late Salvatore Vario.

She was a communicant of The Church of Epiphany in Cheshire, and was a member of the Democratic Town Counsel.

Besides her husband and mother, Sally is survived by a son, Michael J. Smith of Cheshire; three brothers, Peter and his wife, Janet Vario, of Miller's Crossing, NY, Domenic Vario of Florida, Joseph and his wife, Renee Vario, of Belmore, NY; two sisters, Lorraine and her husband, Tony Ferrante, of Howard Beach, NY, and Marie Morande of Bethpage, NY.

Arrangements- Sally's funeral will be held 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2010 from The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St., 06410 to the Church of the Epiphany, 1750 Huckins Road, Cheshire, 06410 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery, Higgins Road, Cheshire, 06410. Calling hours for Sally will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
