WALLINGFORD - Ruth E. Chicares, 88, passed away Saturday May 17, 2014 at Masonicare of Wallingford. She was the wife of the late George Chicares.
Mrs. Chicares was born December 10, 1925 in New Haven the daughter of the late Charles and Edith (Brown) Kuhn. She was a longtime Cheshire resident before moving to Florida in 1989. During her years in Florida, she enjoyed Bocce and Bowling.
Mrs. Chicares is survived by her daughter Pamela Dugan and her husband David of Prospect.
Arrangements - Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Masonicare Home Health and Hospice, 33 N. Plains Industrial Rd., Wallingford, CT 06492. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements.
