WATERBURY- Rosemary (Lynch, Gaetano) Shelton, 74, of Waterbury died Friday June 27, 2014 at Abbott Terrace surrounded by her daughters and family friends. She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd Shelton.

Mrs. Shelton was born July 5, 1939 in Waterbury daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Phalen) Lynch.

She worked for General Data Comm., and Style Leader Fashions. She loved to read her morning newspaper, Crochet, and visit with her daughters and grandchildren.

She leaves five daughters Rose and her husband William Warner of Waterbury, Laurie Gaetano of West Palm Beach,FL, Mary and her husband Kevin Cammilletti of Oakville, Francine and her husband John Robinson of Torrington, DeAnn and her husband John Gadue of Waterbury; eight grandchildren William Jr., Beverly Rose, John Jr., Christine, Zachary, Marc, Mason, and Vincent; a great granddaughter Sophie May; a sister Patrica Secula of Prospect; three brothers Bernard M. and Patrick J. Lynch of Waterbury and Eugene W. Lynch of Califorina; several nieces and nephews; and her lifelong friend Deanna Morin. She was predeceased by four brothers John F., Robert M., Edward T., and Daniel E. Lynch, and a sister Calista Ruggles.

Rosemary’s family would like to thank the staff of VNA of Waterbury for the care and compassion they showed her during her stay.

Arrangements- A service for Rosemary will be held 11 A.M Tuesday July 1, 2014 at The Alderson- Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, 06710. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held 9 A.M Tuesday morning until the start of the service at the funeral home.
