Rose V. Henry

Rose V. Henry, age 101, of Cheshire entered into rest on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at CT Hospice in Branford. She was to devoted wife of the late George L. Henry, Sr. for over 38 years. Rose was born on September 15, 1919 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Kulanish) Vuglas.

Rose grew up in Waterbury and attended local schools, she and George met and moved together to Cheshire and started their family. She worked for sometime at Ball and Socket in Cheshire before raising her two sons. Rose loved nature and to garden, she was artistic and enjoyed painting with oils and pastels.

She is the beloved mother of George L. Henry, Jr. and his wife, Kathie A. Henry of Chatham, MA and Andrew Henry of Cheshire. Rose is the loving grandmother of Mark, Michael, Alison and Andrea Henry; great-grandmother of Cian and Angela Henry; and sister of Dorothy Soehnel of Southington. She was predeceased by her sister Mary Boudreau.
