Rosanna Allen

Mrs. Rosanna M. (King) Allen, 88 formerly of Store Avenue passed away Sunday January 10, 2010 at Apple Rehabilitation in Watertown. She was the widow of William M. Allen.

Mrs. Allen was born February 14, 1921 in Millinocket, Maine a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mack King and has been a longtime Waterbury resident. She was educated in Millinocket schools and had worked in the cafeteria of Warren F. Kaynor Technical School for many years prior to her retirement. Mrs. Allen was a Communicant of Saint Leo the Great Church.

She leaves her son, William L. Allen of Newington, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Allen will be celebrated Saturday January 16, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Saint Leo the Great Church 20 Bentwood Drive in Waterbury. Friends are asked to meet directly at Church. Burial will follow in All Saint's Cemetery in Waterbury. Friends may call at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury 9 Holmes Avenue on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. If desired memorial contributions may be made to Saint Leo the Great Church 20 Bentwood Drive Waterbury, CT. 06705.
