Ronald Moodie

Cheshire ' Ronald O. Moodie, 56, of Country Club Rd. passed away Thursday December 18, 2008 in New Haven. He was the husband of Barbara (Chairamonte) Moodie.

Mr. Moodie was born April 27, 1952 in Lebanon, NH the son of Ora and Janet Moodie. He attended Haverhill School in Vermont and was a member of the Eagles Club in New Hampshire. He was the owner and operator of Ron Moodie Tree Service in Cheshire.

Besides his wife, Mr. Moodie is survived by his two sons Christopher C. Sherman and his wife Wendy of N. Haven and Nicholas T. Sherman and his wife Dana of Deltona, FL; a daughter Tina Pantano and her husband Scott of North Haven; his brother Bruce Moodie of Enfield, NH; six sisters Debra Moodie of Enfield, NH, Marie Faden and her husband Bob of Enfield, NH, Sandra Goodson and her husband Steve of Enfield, NH, Gerry Churchill and her husband Gerald of Brooksville, FL, Fay Potwin of White River Junction, VT and Beverly Patten and her husband Mike of Newport, NH; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers John and Gary and his nephew Nelson Potwin Jr.

Arrangements ' Funeral services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Slater Funeral Home, 242 S. Main St., Cheshire is in charge of arrangements.
