PLANTSVILLE - Dr. Roland B. Fowler DVM, 80, formerly of Cheshire, passed away Thursday February 6, 2014 at the Curtis Home in Meriden. He was the husband of Lorna J. Fowler.
Dr. Fowler was born July 31, 1933 in Odessa, NY, the son of the late Ross and Ruth (Beach) Fowler. He graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Veterinary Science. In the Veterinary field, Dr. Fowler worked for various animal hospitals including his own practice in Plainville. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Cheshire.
Besides his wife of 50 years, Dr. Fowler is survived by many friends and neighbors.
Arrangements - Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.
