CHESHIRE - Roberta M. DellaValle, 79, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at the Masonicare Healthcare Center with her family by her side. She was the wife of Joseph DellaValle.
Mrs. DellaValle was born on May 8, 1936, in New Haven, a daughter of the late Louis and Rae (Paselli) Garafalo. She was a secretary at St. Bridget Church until her retirement.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. DellaValle is survived by her sons, Joseph DellaValle Jr., and Thomas DellaValle, and his wife Irva, and her daughters, Catherine Jenks, and Carolyn Carpenter. She will also be missed by her 7 grandchildren, Jason DellaValle, Ryan Jenks and his wife, Jaimie, Caitlin Jenks, Andrew Jenks, Tyler DellaValle, Carly DellaValle, and Cody Carpenter.
Arrangements- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 10:00 A.M., at St. Thomas Becket Church, 435 North Brooksvale Road, Cheshire. Burial will be in St. Bridget Cemetery. Friends may call at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home, 615 South Main St., Cheshire, Monday morning, from 8:45 until departure. Memorial contributions may be made to The Masonic Charity Foundation, P.O. Box 70, Wallingford, Ct., 06492 or The Cheshire Community Food Bank, 51 Railroad Avenue, Cheshire, Ct., 06410.
