Roberta “Berta” Grace Shaw, 59, of Naugatuck, passed away at Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Berta was born November 16, 1959 in Brookhaven, MS, the daughter of Robert and Grace Radel. She was a devoted wife and mother with many loving friends. She truly loved her job as a school bus driver, a job she held for almost 10 years.

She will always be remembered by the Love of Her Life, Michael E. Shaw Sr.; her children Ashley and Neil Young and Michael E. Shaw Jr.; her Grandbaby Jayden Michael Young; her siblings Barbara and Patrick Flynn of Naugatuck, Trish Gross of Marathon, FL, Lynn and Ron Robey of Lima, OH, Lora Ambroza of Columbus, OH, Clint Radel of Lampasas, TX, James and Patty Radel of Clearwater, FL, Douglas and Patty Radel of Paulding, OH, Sister-in-law Chris Neverga Radel of Gardner, KS; her Father-in-law Robert Shaw of Naugatuck; her brother and sister-in-law Robert and Barbara Shaw of Oakville; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Frederick Radel and William Radel, also her beloved Mother-in-law Thelma Shaw.

Arrangements – A memorial For Roberta will be held on July 30, 2019 from 5 to 7 pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
