Robert Wilcox

WATERBURY - Robert E. Wilcox, 69, passed away Wednesday November 23, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital.

Robert was born September 16, 1942 in Waterbury the son of the late Douglas and Barbara (Granger) Wilcox. He was a longtime Waterbury resident having also lived in Wolcott. He was employed by Sears in Waterbury for over 20 years prior to his retirement.

Robert is survived by his son Jonathan Wilcox and his wife Lissa of Thomaston; his daughter Cynthia Wilcox of Wolcott; his sister Beverly Grohs and her husband Ernie of Wolcott; his granddaughter Kestrel Wilcox; his nephews Dave and Steve Grohs; his great niece Leah and great nephews Ben and Evan.

Arrangements - A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at New Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday November 29, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. Memorial contributions may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.
