Robert Cullen Esq
Cheshire ' Robert Scott Cullen, Esquire, 75, of Rustic Lane, passed away Tuesday December 9, 2008 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen Marie Cullen.
Born in Portsmouth, VA November 12, 1933, Bob was a graduate of Washington and Lee University and received his juris doctor from George Washington University in 1960. An avid sailor, and experienced litigator, he practiced law for many years throughout CT.
He married Kathleen (Katie) Cullen on May 26, 1985. Mr. Cullen is survived by his three children; Lynne Cullen Eades, Michael Scott Cullen, Daniel Pancoast Cullen; their spouses; seven grandchildren; his brother Benjamin and wife, and most recently, a great grandson.
He was much loved by his step-son Patrick Duff and wife Pom - who thanks to Bob's efforts is now a U.S. citizen.
Arrangements ' Funeral services will be held on Monday December 15, 2008 at the Stephan Burns Funeral Home in Buffalo, NY with burial following in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 12,2008 from
4 to 8 p.m. at the Slater Funeral Home, 242 S. Main St., Cheshire. Memorial contributions may be made to The USO or The Salvation Army of CT, 855 Asylum Ave. Hartford, CT 06105.
