WATERBURY- Robert "Bob" T. Crane, 63, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Waterbury Hospital.
Bob was born November 14, 1950 in Waterbury, son of Robert J. Crane and the late Dorothy (Hamilton) Crane.
He was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Class of 1968. He graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor's Degree. Bob was a teacher in the Waterbury School System for thirty seven years prior to his retirement.
He loved to read, especially histories and biographies. He also loved to golf, and to travel.
Bob is survived by his son Robert E. Crane of Washington, D.C; a sister, Donna Crane of Chester, NJ; two brothers, Stephen Crane of Enfield, and Mark and his wife Joan Crane of Watertown; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements- Bob's funeral will be held at 9:15 A.M, Monday, December 9, 2013 from the Mulville Funeral Home, 270 West Main St, 06702 and proceed to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main St, 06702 for a Funeral Mass at 10 A.M. Friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 2 to 5 P.M. at the funeral home. Donations in his name may be made to Waterbury Hospital, Intensive Care Unit.
