Richard Eureka

Mr. Richard E. Eureka, Sr, 69, of Southington died Thursday March 12, 2009 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut at Bradley Memorial in Southington. He was the husband of Judith (Lester) (Pepin) Eureka.

Richard was born April 15, 1939 in Waterbury a son of Mildred (Hendrick) Eureka and the late Ernest L. Eureka. He attended Waterbury schools and was a truck driver for Mobile Technology serving as Northeast Director. Richard loved being with his grandchildren.

Besides his wife and mother he leaves his son, Richard E. Eureka, Jr. and his wife Jessie of Greenfield Center, NY, his daughters, Charleen Mitchell and her husband John of Wolcott and Jennifer Ukers and her husband Michael of Southington, his brother, Donald Eureka and his wife Frances of Waterbury and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Roger L. Eureka.

Funeral services for Richard will be held Monday at 8 p.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury 9 Holmes Avenue. Burial will be held at the convenience of his family. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 6 p.m. until the time of the service.
