Cheshire ' Reynold "Rey" J. Archambault Jr., 80, of Currier Way passed away Saturday December 20, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Caroline (Bradley) Archambault.

Mr. Archambault was born November 16, 1928 in Waterbury the son of the late Reynold J. and Margaret (O'Connor) Archambault Sr. He was a graduate of Providence College obtaining his bachelors degree in Business Management. He was employed by Union Trust Company in New Haven for 23 years before accepting a position at Bristol Savings Bank. After two years of service with Bristol Savings, Mr. Archambault started his own business of real estate appraisal, R.J. Archambault Jr. Assoc., before retiring in the mid 1990's. He was a communicant of St. Bridget Church, has been a Cheshire resident since 1998 and was an avid Red Sox fan.

Besides his wife of 53 years, Mr. Archambault is survived by his three sons Rey Archambault and his wife Darylanne of Southington, Dan Archambault of Hartford and John Archambault of Cheshire; a daughter Michele Pare' and her husband Lyle of South Hadley, MA; a brother Rev. James Archambault of Bradenton, FL; four grandchildren Ryan and Nicole Archambault and Lyle and Caroline Pare'.

Arrangements ' Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 27, 2008, 11:15 from the Slater Funeral Home, 242 S. Main St., to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 12 noon. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Bridget Church Building Fund, 175 Main St., Cheshire, CT 06410.
