Renate A. Renda

WALLINGFORD – Renate A. Renda, 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at The Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was the wife of Alfred W. Renda.

Mrs. Renda was born January 30, 1936, in Germany, daughter of the late Ernest and Else (Ottman) Berner.

In addition to her husband of 42 years, Mrs. Renda is survived by her son John Mazzella and his wife, Annalisa; her daughters, Marlene Mazzella-Russo and her husband, Robert, and Elizabeth Mazzella; her grandchildren Justin and Heather Miner, Katie Miner D’andrea, and Alex, Francesco, Luca and James Mazzella; and her great-grandchildren, Susan and Andrew Miner and Layla and Jason Miller. She will also be missed by her step-children; Steven and Kathleen Renda. She was predeceased be her son, Frank Mazzella Jr. and her brother Carl Berner.
