NAUGATUCK - Mr. Raul L. Karlson, 86, of Naugatuck, passed away Tuesday morning Mar. 10, 2015 at the Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of the late Bernice (Diaz) Karlson.
Mr. Karlson was born in Sweden, June 14, 1928 and came to this country first settling in California and then moving to Naugatuck in 2010. Mr. Karlson was a retired Union Mason, having worked for Local #4 Bricklayers and Concrete Workers of America in California retiring in 2001 after 50 years of service.
He leaves children, Craig Karlson of CA., Kim Karlson of Santa Monica, CA., Lynnea Karlson of Reno. NV, Diana Barnes, Cynthia Clar, Joanne Calvert, Nowela Supebedia, and Georgina Andazola all of Naugatuck; 15 grandchildren and 8 grand-children.
Private funeral services and burial will be in California at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Chapel of Naugatuck, P.O. Box 1789, Naugatuck, CT 06770-1789.
