SOUTHINGTON- Priscilla S. Clark, 83, passed away Saturday February 25, 2012 at The Southington Care Center. She was the widow of James M. Clark Jr. who passed away in 2002.

She was born May 22, 1928 in New Kensington, PA daughter of the late Henry Alpha and Gertrude (Wilcox) Shouse.

Priscilla was a graduate of the University of Louisville, and then went on to attend Southern Connecticut State University where she received her Masters in Psychology.

She was a clinical psychologist at The Southbury Training School prior to her retirement.

She was a member of The Cheshire Lutheran Church and served many years on the Altar Guild. She belonged to the American Association of University Women; she was a two time golf champion at The Heritage Village Country Club in Southbury, and she volunteered at many local schools to tutor students. She loved quilting, gardening, the Red Sox and her family.

Priscilla is survived by four sons Jeffery and his wife Cathy Clark of York, ME, Eric and his wife Colleen Clark of Plantsville, Christopher and his wife Terry Clark of Ballston Spa, NY, and Andrew and Pam Clark of Cheshire; 10 grandchildren Kyle, Sam, Emma, Travis, J.J, Matthew, Whitney, Ian, Avery, and Kinsley Clark. She was predeceased by a sister Betty Remaley, and a granddaughter Kelly Clark.

Arrangements- Funeral Services for Priscilla will be held on Wednesday February 29, 2012 at 10 a.m. at The Cheshire Lutheran Church, 660 West Main St, Cheshire, 06410. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410. Donations in her name may be made to The American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73123 or to The American Red Cross American Red Cross National Headquarters, 2025 E Street, NW Washington, DC 20006.
