SOUTHINGTON- Phyllis M. Botelho, 99, formerly of Cheshire, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 21, 2017. She was the widow of Alfred Botelho Sr. whom passed in 2006 after 65 years of marriage.
Mrs. Botelho was born March 12, 1918 in Philadelphia, PA daughter of the late Gennaro and Luigina (Famiglietti) Melchionne.
Phyllis was a Conveyor Technician at Raymond’s Bakery prior to her retirement.
She is survived by her two daughters Linda and her husband Stephen Christopher of Southington, and Patricia and her husband Arnold Davis of Oakville; twelve grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Phyllis was predeceased by her sons Alfred Botelho Jr., and Robert Botelho; her grandson Jay Botelho; and seven brothers and sisters.
Arrangements- A private Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Botelho will be held at The Church of St. Dominic, 1050 Flanders Rd, Southington, CT 06489. A private burial will be held in St. Thomas Cemetery, and there are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410 is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067, or to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Dr, Wallingford, CT 06492.
