Peter Durkee

BRISTOL - Peter J. Durkee, 55, of Bristol, formerly of Cheshire, passed away on May 3, 2011 at Bristol Hospital after a brief illness. Peter was born on June 8, 1955 in Cortland, NY the son of Florence Durkee Telecsen of Little River, SC and the late Thomas Durkee. He graduated from Southington High School and worked at the Raymond Baking Company in Waterbury for many years and most recently at Price Chopper in Bristol.

Besides his mother, Peter is survived by his children Jennifer and Bryan Durkee; his brothers and sisters Steve (Betsy) Durkee of Cheshire, Scott Durkee of Meriden, Kathy (Larry) Gauthier of Irmo, SC, Lori (Bob) Wilson of Chesterfield VA; his step-father Carl Telecsen, and his former wife Robin Durkee. He was predeceased by his brother, Mark Durkee.

Arrangements - A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society 825 Brook St., I-91 Tech Ctr.
