CHESHIRE - Paul F. Miller, 76, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury. For 51 years, he was the beloved husband of Barbara (Caldarola) Miller.

Mr. Miller was born on February 9, 1940 in Bridgeport, a son of the late Frank and Virginia (Casey) Miller. Until his retirement, he was a professor of science at Norwalk Community College. He was a longtime Cheshire resident, a member of the Cheshire Art League; actively involved in CPFA-ArtsPlace, and the Cheshire Y.M.C.A. Mr. Miller was an avid gardener, artist and reader, and in his retirement, travelled and explored North America with his wife, Barbara, by boat, train and car.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Miller is survived by his daughters, Judith (Jodie) Monllos and her husband, Dean, of Cheshire, and Deborah Davis, of Lancaster, Pa. He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Joshua Davis, Nicholas Monllos, Benjamin Monllos, and Zachary Davis. He cherished their time spent together; laughing, playing, teaching and learning from each other. Mr. Miller was predeceased by his brother, John.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, 111 Church Dr., Cheshire. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be held in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery, Wallingford Road. Friends may call at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home, 615 South Main St., Cheshire, Wednesday evening, from 4:00 until 7:00.
