Patricia A. Morgan

CHESHIRE - Patricia A. Morgan, 65, entered into heaven peacefully Sunday December 27th 2015 at Smilow Cancer Hospital in New Haven. She was the wife of Robert H. Morgan.

Mrs. Morgan was born December 16, 1950 in Derby CT , the daughter of Edith “Betty” (Kaiser) Maxwell and the late Albert J. Ahern Jr. Raised in Seymour, she received her BA degree from SCSU and her MBA from UNH. She held chief development officer positions in several non profit organizations. She was an active Rotary Member as well as a member of several different Chambers of Commerce. Also, she was active in several professional development organizations . Mrs. Morgan retired from CT Community Care in Bristol in 2015.

She enjoyed vacationing especially in Newport, RI, Cape Cod and Cape May, NJ.

Patricia enjoyed "oldies" music and was an active member of the New England Doo Wop Society.

Besides her husband of over 30 years and her mother Betty and her husband Thomas Maxwell of Seymour, Mrs. Morgan is survived by her daughter Karen Morgan and her husband Kurt Sablitz of Hamden; her step-mother Nancy V. Ahern of New Haven; her cousin and close friend, Susan French; as well as an aunt and many cousins.

Arrangements - Visitation will be held on Sunday January 3, 2016 from 4 to 8pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
