NAUGATUCK- Mr. Nicholas Edward Corsi, Sr., 63, of 26 Ramsey Ave., Naugatuck, died Sunday Sept. 27, 2009 at the Waterbury Hospital,
Mr. Corsi was born in Rutland, VT, a son of the late Dominic and Bernadette (Grenier) Corsi and had been a Naugatuck resident for over 40 years, moving here from Vermont. He had formerly worked for the Key-Rite Co. in Seymour for over 20 years and had also worked for Fassett's Farm for over 21 years prior to it's closing. He was presently an employee of the Middlebury Convalescent Home working there for more than 20 years.
He leaves 3 sons, Rev. Nicholas E. Corsi, Jr. and his wife Elda, of Williamsburg, VA, Randy L. Corsi of Waterbury, and Timothy S. Corsi of Arizona; 4 brothers, Joseph Corsi of Pittford, VT, Gary Corsi of Brantry, VT, Anthony Corsi of Waterbury and Peter Corsi of Rutland VT; 5 sisters, DominicaWithington of Rutland VT, Louise Jackson of Warwick RI, Bernadette Perry of Prospect,Mary Ann Chandler of Rutland VT, Donna St. Jaques of New Hampshire, and Deborah Bartlett of Center Rutland VT; 5 grandchildren, Anika S. Corsi, Rebecca L. Corsi, Nicholas E. Corsi, III, Brandi L Corsi, and Kiana N. Corsi
His funeral will be held on Saturday Oct. 3 at 9:30 am from the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. to Naugatuck Valley Community Church, 159 Church St., Naugatuck for a service at 10 am. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery, Naugatuck. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday Oct. 2nd from 6 to 9 pm and on Saturday from 8:30 am until the procession leaves for church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the family in care of the Corsi family at 492 Queens Creek Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23185
