Myrtle Andersen

CHESHIRE - Myrtle V. Andersen, 92, went to be with her Lord on Monday August 15, 2011 after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Henry I Andersen.

Mrs. Andersen was born July 10, 1919 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Kristian and R. Helena (Aas) Petersen. She was a Trumbull and New Fairfield resident before moving to Elim Park in Cheshire.

Mrs. Andersen is survived by her daughters Phyllis Honychurch and her husband Doug of Trumbull and Joan Callahan and her husband Charlie of Branford; as well as four grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Arrangements - A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 3, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Elim Park, 150 Cook Hill Rd., in Nelson Hall. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at the State Veteran's Cemetery in Middletown. There are no calling hours.
