WATERBURY- Myla Evon, 80, passed away Saturday September 28, 2013 at Hartford Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Harold H. Evon Sr.
She was born December 13, 1932 in Waterbury daughter of the late Harris and Lena (Bricket) DeMand.
Myla was a Machine Operator at Hemingway Corporation prior to her retirement. She was an avid Knitter and loved to attend local fairs.
She is survived by a son Adolph Cammilletti of Somers, CT; two daughters Cheryl H. and her husband Harry Zackorchevnoy of Forestport, NY, and Debra Evon and her husband Tim Horan of Winsted; a sister Salena Atkins of Waterbury; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Arrangements- A graveside service for Myla will be held 10 A.M Wednesday October 2, 2013 at New Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meriden Road, Waterbury, 06705. Burial will follow after the service. A Memorial Service for Myla will be held 11 A.M Wednesday October 2, 2013 at All Saints Church, 282 Bound Line Rd Wolcott, CT 06716. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, is in charge of the arrangements. Donations in her name may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492.
