Michelle Lanz

Cheshire ' Michelle (Williams) Lanz, 66, of Patton Dr., passed away peacefully Saturday February 28, 2009 at Hartford Hospital with her family by her side. She was the wife of Kerry J. Lanz.

Mrs. Lanz was born November 18, 1942, in Stamford, the daughter of the late Michael and Rose (Buscher) Williams. She was a C.N.A. for the Highlands Health Care Center in Cheshire and an active member of the Cheshire Senior Center. She was a communicant of Holy Angels Church in Meriden where she was a Greeter at the 8:30 A.M. Sunday Mass. She was a member of the "Young at Heart" group at Holy Angels.

Besides her husband of 24 years, Mrs. Lanz is survived by her son Kerry J. Hueston and his wife Claudia of New York, NY, and her daughter Mary E. Collie and her husband James III of San Anselmo, CA. Michelle was a vibrant, lively woman with a passion for meeting people. She leaves a multitude of friends.

Arrangements ' A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday March 7, 2009 at 11 A.M. at Holy Angels Church, 915 South Main St., South Meriden. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may be received in the vestibule of the church from 10 A.M. until the time of Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to Gaylord Hospital, P.O. Box 400, Wallingford, CT 06492 or to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Dr., Wallingford, CT 06492. Also in her memory, buy dinner for the people at the next table when you go to a restaurant.
