Michael D. Verno, 77, passed away, Sunday, June 7, 2020, at Arden House in Hamden. He was the husband of Diane (LaBonte) Verno.
Mr. Verno was born December 15, 1942, in Waterbury, the son of the late Carmine and Grace (Calo) Verno. He was a Mental Health Clinician as part of the Homeless Case Management Program for Waterbury Hospital.
Mr. Verno’s family would like to thank the Arden House for the wonderful care provided to him during his time there.
Besides his wife of 21 years, Mr. Verno is survived by his children William and Carmine Verno and Deanna Farrelly; his step-son Michael Murphy; his brothers Robert Verno and his wife Nancy, and John Verno and his wife Antoinette; several grandchildren; 2 nephews and 2 great-nephews.
Arrangements – A Graveside service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020, at 1 pm at St. Bridget Cemetery, Higgins Rd., Cheshire. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 200 Executive Blvd., Southington, CT 06489-1058.
