WATERBURY; Mrs. Mary (Harmon) Robinson, 87 of Waterbury passed away Wednesday July 21, 2010 at the Lutheran Home of Southbury. She was the widow of James D. Robinson.

Mrs. Robinson was born March 1, 1923 in Waterbury a daughter of the late Maurice F. and Catherine (Hurley) Harmon and spent most of her life in Waterbury. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury and was an avid bingo player. Mrs. Robinson was a Communicant of Saint Leo the Great Church where she was a member of the Ladies Guild.

She leaves her sons, James Robinson and his wife Linda of Waterbury and Stephen Robinson and his wife Susan of Glastonbury, her sister Catherine White of Waterbury, her grandson Scott Robinson of Bloomington, IL, her granddaughter, Katherine (Robinson) Walas and her husband Matthew of West Hartford, her great granddaughters, Ashley Robinson of Bloomington, IL and Eleanor Walas of West Hartford, her great grandson, Henry Brian Walas of West Hartford, her sisters-in-law, Ellen Merkle of Waterbury and Jean Harmon of Lewiston, NY and many cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, great grand nieces and great grand nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson Brian Robinson, her brothers Maurice Harmon, Raymond Harmon and Michael (Joseph) Harmon and her sisters, Margaret (Peggy) Dowling and Rose Holden.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Robinson will be celebrated on Friday at 9 a.m. at Saint Leo the Great Church 20 Bentwood Drive in Waterbury. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Home of Southbury 990 Main Street North Southbury, CT 06488. The Mulville Funeral Home 270 West Main Street in Waterbury has care of arrangements.
