NAUGATUCK- Mrs. Mary Louise (Cote) Dauch, 86 of Naugatuck, passed away Saturday Jan. 16, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Mrs. Dauch was born in Waterbury, Jan. 27, 1929, a daughter of the late Joseph and Loretta (Conway) Cote and was educated in the Waterbury school system and a graduate of Leavenworth High School, Class of 1946. She had been a Naugatuck resident for many years, and was a former member of the Naugatuck Women’s Club. She enjoyed traveling and staying in Elder-Hostels, and was a Seamstress.
She leaves her children; two sons, George Dauch of Naugatuck and William Dauch of Newington; one daughter Catherine Pragano of Naugatuck; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, and a very close friend, Joseph Gallagher of Naugatuck. She was predeceased by her brothers, Francis Cote and Joseph Cote.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday Jan. 19, 2016 at 12 noon the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Conn. Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111-1527.
