Mary Lou Welin

WALLINGFORD- Mary Lou Welin, 82, passed away Saturday November 23, 2013 at Skyview Health Care Center in Wallingford. She was the wife of Leonard Welin.

She was born June 6, 1931 daughter of the late William and Eleanor (Hamilton) Heermans.

Besides her husband she is survived by two sons Rev. Gregory and his wife Rev. Amy Welin of Seymour, Jeffrey and his wife Beth Welin of Gloucester, MA; two brothers Sam Heermans of Virginia, and Rev. Jan Heermans of North Carolina; a sister Jane Proud of Wilmington, DE; seven grandchildren Matthew, Sarah, Rachel, James, Michael, Christopher, and Austin; and one great grand daughter Carissa. Mary Lou was predeceased by her daughter Susan Mack, and a brother Bill Heermans.

Arrangements- A Funeral Service for Mary Lou will be held 11 A.M Saturday Novemeber 30, 2013 at St. Paul Episcopal Church, 65 North Main Street, Wallingford, 06492. Following her service Mary Lou's ashes will be interred in the St Paul's Episcopal Church Memorial Garden. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410 is assisting with the arrangements. Donations in her name may be made to St. Paul Episcopal Church, 65 North Main Street, Wallingford, 06492.
